When you are leaving for vacation or taking a business trip, don’t entrust your pet’s care to just anyone. Rather than hiring a pet sitter or leaving your dog or cat at a traditional kennel, let them enjoy a vacation of their own at Carefree Pet Resort. When you choose us for pet boarding in Carefree, your furry friend will get to enjoy one of our cozy guest casitas and experience all the comforts of home while you’re away.
Our canine guests get to enjoy cozy bedding, one-on-one attention, five restroom trips per day, fun time in our playroom, toys, and a bedtime snack. We ask that you bring their usual food. Otherwise, a house meal charge of $3 per meal will apply.
Our 4x4 casita is perfect for guests under 30 pounds.

If you have a large dog or a couple of dogs who would do well rooming together, choose our large 6x6 casita.

If you have multiple pets and would like everyone to stay close together, ask about the availability of our adjoining rooms! A few of our rooms can easily be converted into two-bedroom suites. Please note, we do charge for two rooms with adjoining suites.

All canine guests must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, and Bordetella vaccinations. we recommend updating your dog’s Bordetella vaccine every year. We also require guests to be on a monthly flea and tick treatment.
We strongly recommend consulting with your veterinarian about additional vaccinations, such as Canine Influenza and Leptospirosis.
We are happy to administer oral or topical medications or supplements to your pets! Medication must be in the original prescribed container with the prescription label adhered.
Please bring enough food for the duration of your pet's boarding stay. You must provide individual prepackaged containers or Ziplock bags with your pet’s name and food measured by meal or a meal packaging fee of $3 per day (max of $15 per boarding stay) will be applied to your pet’s invoice. Canned food and meal toppers are accepted in their original container, but must be labeled with your pet's name.
We love cats here at Carefree Pet Resort, too! When your feline friend stays with us, they’ll get to enjoy a spacious two-level suite with separate areas for lounging, feeding, and bathroom needs. Our feline guests also receive comfy bedding, fresh water, toys, and clean litter daily.
All feline guests must be up to date on Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.
