Dog Daycare

Why leave your canine companion home alone when they can enjoy an exciting day at dog daycare instead?

A Fantastic Daytime Destination for Your Canine Companion

Spending the day home alone while you are at work isn’t much fun for your dog. It’s pretty dog-gone boring! And in addition to boredom, dogs who spend too much time at home alone are more likely to experience separation anxiety and display destructive behavior.

At Carefree Pet Resort, we provide dog daycare in Carefree, and we’ll make sure your canine companion has an amazing day! They’ll get to spend the day meeting new and old friends. Depending on their personal preferences, they can relax with a good ear scratch or run, chase, catch, fetch, and sniff everyone and everything in sight.

We take the safety of the pets in our care very seriously, so each dog must first complete a Meet & Greet to ensure that they are a good fit for Daycare.

Importance of Resting

Routine rest time during daycare is not only important to the health of your pet, but also for the safety of the entire pack. Resting refers to the downtime in between playtimes during daycare. This gives your pet a chance to recuperate so they do not exhaust themselves before their visit comes to an end, which is especially important for our full day guests. Additionally, resting significantly decreases the chances of injuries within the pack. Just like with humans, rest allows for both mental and physical recovery, for their overall health and wellbeing.

Dog Daycare Requirements

To ensure your dog is a good fit, we require a visit before you can make your dog’s first daycare reservation. This visit lasts 4 hours and gives you an opportunity to tour the resort, check out the guest casitas, playroom, and restroom, meet the staff, and be introduced to some new friends. The daycare is how parents, pets, and staff can determine if our daycare is right for your canine companion. We’ll also complete paperwork and get your dog all set up for future stays during this visit.
